Welcome to Week 4! This week, we'll continue digging into our study of poetry.
We will also continue to work on independent reading and your writing goals and CallieKo Cats, you will be meeting your kindergarten reading buddies on Friday.

As always, please let me know if you have questions or feedback for me!
Welcome to Week 2! I had so much fun meeting and getting to know you last week. I'm so excited to continue learning about you and learning together this week. This week, we will focus on 2 main tasks: Writing and Circle Centerpieces.
This week we will focus our class time on setting up our Writer's Workshop. We'll be using an approach to writing called EMPOWER, and this week will be dedicated to learning and practicing that approach with a writing assignment that will help me get to know you better. You'll also begin working on your individual writing goal that you set up last week.
Last week, Mr. Ko and I shared our circle centerpieces with you. This week, you'll get to share your circle centerpiece with our class. On the day that you signed up for, you should bring your object and the prep sheet. Be ready to tell us what you brought and why it's important to you. You'll only have about 1-2 minutes to share, so you'll have to keep it brief!
