Self-Portrait and Sacred Shrine Installation
Project Inspiration
Students will take on the role of investigators, journalists, and artists to capture the essence of our community as a whole through the exploration of our individual cultures, traditions, family history and socioeconomic status. We will tell our stories and honor each other’s unique experiences through photography and writing. Students will be on a journey of identifying common themes and elements of their own family traditions and how that resonates throughout the community. We will celebrate each others lives for our annual Día de los Muertos exhibition.
